Band Department

Welcome to the Maroa-Forsyth Band website!

The communities of Maroa and Forsyth, Illinois have a combined population of roughly 5,000 and are located in Central Illinois north of Decatur. The band program contains approximately 150 students ranging from 5th to 12th grade.

This site is designed to keep you informed about all facets of the band department and give you an inside look at what's going on within the program.

JAZZ CAFE RAFFLE FUNDRAISER

Saturday, April 21st, 2-5PM, MFHS Cafetorium

We are excited to be hosting our 2nd annual Jazz Cafe! This is our major fundraiser for the year and will feature both of out jazz ensembles, solo/group acts from our students, and a special guest jazz ensemble performance. There will also be raffles every 30 minutes featuring many prizes from local businesses, organizations, and even some of our band students!. Our top prizes include a pair of Dr. Dre Solo Beats headphones ($200 value), a Kindle Touch ($100 value), and an 8GB iPod nano ($120 value). To make this as successful as last year, WE NEED YOUR HELP!!! Below you will find a volunteer sign up sheet, a donation form, and a dessert donation form. Simply email me at jamese@mfschools.org with your volunteer availability, donation item(s), or food item(s), and I will update the list daily.
